Ze werkt meestal op elektriciteit, en haar effici\u00ebntie wordt in COP (\u201ccoefficient of performance\u201d) uitgedrukt. Hoe lager de retourwatertemperatuur (maximum 55\u00b0C), hoe meer de damp condenseert en hoe beter het rendement van de ketel. Idealiter wordt gewerkt met vertrektemperaturen van 60\u00b0C en retourtemperaturen van 40\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Condensatieketels op gas zijn vaak de meest rationele keuze<\/strong>, temeer daar ze bijna de enige zijn die aan de regelgeving voldoen.
